2nd grade curriculum - 2011-2012

In our 2nd official year of homeschooling we're pretty much sticking with what we've been doing. Looks a lot like 1st grade.

Math - Right Start C, MEP 2
Reading - Living books in both English and Vietnamese.
Handwriting - Vietnamese practice books - cursive
Vietnamese - 1st Grade VN national curriculum
English Writing - The Complete Writer: Writing with Ease
English  Spelling - Spell to Write and Read
Social Studies - Mosaic Curriculum using The Story of the World 2: Middle Ages
and The Usborne Internet-Linked Encyclopedia Of World History

Science - Building Foundations of Scientific Understanding

Art - Artistic Pursuits
Music - Choice of Recorder, Keyboard or glockenspiel. Sometimes ukulele, which is really Moms instrument.
